Sachiko Higashi

Sachiko Higashi Born in Saitama (suburb of Tokyo). Graduated from the department of Russian language of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 1995 and took the degree of Master of Arts in 1999. In 2002 graduated from the department of vocal music of the State St.Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory. In her student's days, as the first foreign student through the history of the St.Petersburg Conservatory, made her opera debut at the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St.Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (Cherubino "Le Nozze di Figaro", Mozart).
Participated in the master-class of Larisa Gergieva in Tokyo in 2002, and then has been invited to the Academy of young singers of Mariinsky Theatre.
At present she is mainly singing in Tokyo and in St.Petersburg - being invited to various festivals such as "Festival of Japanese culture in Russia" (2003) etc. As a director and a soloist, she organized the festival "100/120/75" - 100th years since birth of D. Shostakovich, 120th years since birth of K. Yamada and 75th since their encounter (2006). Also as a regular correspondent, she is writing to Japanese newspaper "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" and Japanese journal "The friends of music" etc.
As a philologist, she is teaching Japanese language at the Oriental College in St.Petersburg. ремонт сабвуферов и усилителей звука.
